Ian Barsby Photography
"My husband was off to start pre deployment training for a tour of duty in Afghanistan, shortly after his birthday in 2013. I needed a birthday gift that would see him through his time away.
I got in touch with Ian to ask if he could fit me in for a photo shoot, before the end of April so that I could give my husband his gift on his birthday. Ian was very accommodating and organised a Sunday afternoon to do this, in my own home!
He arrived on time (even hung back a little whilst I got hubby out of the way!), set up our own little studio in the lounge and took a number of photos of me and my daughter. He was flexible enough to do a couple of outdoor photos too. We chose a tree to pose against and were lucky to have a little wind to blow our hair around. They photographs are beautiful!
Ian makes you feel very relaxed, and has a friendly demeanour and makes the experience great fun! All in all I would highly recommend Ian for any of your photography needs.
Thanks Ian!" Teresa Betts
"From the moment Ian first came to our house to discuss our wedding photos we felt totally confident that he would do an amazing job. Ian was completely dedicated and passionate about photography and focused on capturing the day in the way we hoped to. Jonathan and I were both a little camera shy but Ian made us feel totally comfortable and turned what we thought would be a formality of the day into a totally fun and enjoyable experience.
Ian worked tirelessly throughout the entire day, we really couldn't have asked for a more focused, conscientious photographer. Ian captured all aspects of the day, from traditional family moments to relaxed moments we don't even remember, striking the perfect balance. This has made the day even more special to look back on.
From our initial meeting to receiving our photographs everything was presented with care, pride and professionalism. Ian really did help to make our day memorable, we cannot recommend him enough!
